A panel of researchers al John Hopkins University discovered after a 3-year study that purchasing a new hand built guitar does, in fact, add years to your life. A select group of discussion group forum members and struggling luthiers studied the habits, mood, swings and ultimately age of death among participants who either had or had not bought a new guilar in the past 5 years.
