Better a day late than never!
The incomparable Joe Pass was born on January 13th, 1929 in New Jersey. After coming through the other side of an addiction that almost claimed his life, Joe returned to the professional scene and quickly established himself as one of the greatest and most respected giants in jazz music history. Whether listening to his timeless recordings with Ella Fitzgerald, or one of his 3-dozen records as a leader, it is safe to say that Joe’s place at the top of any jazz icon list will forever be firmly solidified. Here is a clip of Joe performing “Ain’t Misbehavin'” on Oscar Peterson & Friends.
